BMW have raised a potential issue with all water cooled BMW GS, GSA, 1200 and 1250 bikes.

We’re not expecting many issues here in Jersey because of the limited island mileage, so please don’t worry. This is a safety check rather than a recall.

If you own one of these motorbikes built between 2013 and October 2021

or contact pip@themansellcollection.co.uk for more information and to register your name, so that we can book your bike in for a full check-over.

PLEASE NOTE, any problems will be fixed. We will check the water ingress and, if there is any wear, we will replace the drive shaft. An upgraded drainage system will also be added to all bikes, which involves a larger drainage hole with a duck-billed one-way valve.

We’re currently awaiting parts and tools, so there is no rush - it’s just something to be aware of and get checked over as soon as we can.
